Kelley came to stay with us for 2 weeks over her holiday break and it was great having her here. She was so so so helpful in every way...could use her around here all the time (ha ha ha). Trevor just adored her and did his flirting thing with her the first few days...then he was just used to her being around and oh how they had a good time together!!
Christmas was just as obnoxious as ever for us, although maybe a bit more so this year with the inclusion of the little man...everyone was so thoughtful and generous...we really do appreciate all the gifts we received from you ("you" know who you are ; >)
We all scored really great stuff this year, and honestly, I don't know how this year is going to be topped. As wide-eyed as Trevor was...and confused, overwhelmed and a little scared (by all the enthusiasm), next year will be more interesting for him - I suppose - and since he'll be bigger, maybe able to do some unwrapping of his own. We'll see.....
Kelley helped me make our turkey - she never had a Thanksgiving Feast - so that is what we did for our meal this year. She also had never seen a full turkey before, let alone stuff it. That was pretty amusing to get her through. We all ate and ate and ate and then crashed out in various locations in the house...I even think we took turns taking naps with "The Dude."
The whole day seems like such a blur now...all that hard work - shopping, decorating, cooking, wrapping - and all gone in just a matter of hours...but the thoughts of love sent to us are always with us.
So...next, New Years...let the crazy continue...until we all can rest during that first week in January and restore calm back into all of our lives.
Enjoy the photos.
