There is an amazing lake near our house and we decided on one other beautiful day to go and hang out. As we had to pass by Claudia's house on our way, we thought we'd stop by to see if she would like to go with us.
Now, the girls and I had imagined laying out a blanket and hanging by the water - soaking up sun and playing with Trevor at one of the many little play areas. Claudia wanted to walk around the lake. Which is what we did. And it was really nice! We stopped for some ice cream, then when we finished we treated ourselves to a beer (me and claudia of course) and the girls - french fries!
On the lake, you can take out paddle boats, something Cheyenne was absolutely bursting to do...a bit difficult with Trevor with us, so I sent Terry and the girls out later on in the day to enjoy themselves and it looks as though they had a great time....
A beautiful day, out in nature, with a good friend and my kids. Couldn't get much better!!
